I am still having a hard time believing that we are in April. I remember as a kid, being told all the time that I would want time to slow down because I was trying to speed time up! Now that I’m an adult it just seems to keep going faster and faster!
Now we are in an April and I have decided to complete a monthly art journal scrapbooking style for every month this year. I have enjoyed making these for the past few months.
This month I didn’t get to crazy and really kept it simple. As usual my Cricut helped me out! I used some paper from this great DCWV Butterfly paper stack and some Bazzill brown cardstock and some K&Company Alpha letters and American Craft numbers. That was it clean and simple for the month of April.
First thing I did was cut my flowers with my Cricut at a size of 2.25. The trick when making these monthly art journals is to ensure that you have enough space to write your daily activities on the die cut that you choose to be your day for each day of the month. I then laid my flowers out in a way that I would have enough room for a month and a year to be placed on each page.
