Have you ever wondered how to get those photos off of your iPhone? There are different ways to accomplish this task and depending on your needs you can choose to follow all the methods that I am going to teach you or you can pick and choose the one that is best for you.
The first method that I am going to teach you is very straightforward and only entails a few steps. Go to the app store on your iPhone or iPad and download the Shutterfly for iPhone app.
If you do not already have a shutterfly account you can create one by clicking . Once you have an account all you have to do is open the app on your phone and log in. Create a folder and label it your iPhone pictures. Remember to let Shutterfly access your folders and the location information from your phone.
When you allow Shutterfly this access the location information will be printed on the back of your photo. I do this because I scrap chronologically and this helps me with the project life project that I am working on with my cell phone pictures.
Shutterfly gives you the ability to look through your photos and choose which ones you would like to upload. Once you select all the photos that you would like to upload all you have to do is click upload and your photos will be uploaded directly to Shutterfly.
Now that your photos are at Shutterfly you can log in and review your photos, edit them if you would like to and get them printed.
It really is just that easy by using this method! Before you know it you will have your photos from your phone printed and ready for an album!
Techy Stuff about the App
Now a few things about the settings for the Shutterfly app for the iPhone, the thumbnail cache should be set to unlimited. I have my notifications set up to tell me when an upload has completed and when new photos are on my phone since my last upload. I especially like this feature because I don’t have to review pictures that I have previously uploaded to Shutterfly. I have not logged in with my Facebook account but that is an option if you would like to use that and I do not have the shake viewer on but these are just my personal preferences.
