I’m not going to lie I was lazy this year so when Grandma took care of buying pre-made Valentines for the kids to give out at school, I was more then fine with that. My daughter decided that all her teachers had to have a little box of candy though. This meant that they each needed a card to go along with that box of candy.
At the very last minute, last night (you know the day before) I jumped on my computer and went straight to design space! As I log on I come to find out that Cricut has made some changes for us subscription holders and for the better!
Alright so here’s the deal, now subscription users get exclusive benefits, like files that are only available to them and 10% off all orders on Cricut.com and in Cricut Design Space and all this for only $7.99 a month.
I have to admit that I am a subscriber and that I have been for some time! I find the benefit of subscribing is worth the money. I get access to over 30,000 files and now I get exclusive cut files and 10% off my purchases. The way I look at it I am being rewarded for using something that I absolutely enjoy using on a regular basis. Let me just give you a few tips.
*The 10% off discount is only applicable on Cricut.com (USA and CAN only) and in Cricut Design Space™. The 10% off cannot be used to purchase or renew Cricut Access™, to purchase Cricut Circle™, or on iOS in-app purchases. This change does not require any action from current subscribers. Terms and Conditions apply.
Now that I have told you how awesome Cricut is let me show you the quick teacher cards that I made for my babies. I cut out this adorable card at 8 inches wide which then was scored at the 4 inch mark. My Cricut Explore scored the lines for me which made putting the cards together super easy.
The next step for me was to grab my Close To My Heart Pixie ink and Frame Stamp set. I stamped a frame and the sentiment Happy Valentines inside it. Then I grabbed a sponge dauber and inked the outside of the card. I also inked up 3 hearts on each card so that there would be little hearts on the inside of the cards as well. My daughter loved the little hearts on the inside of each card. I also now have a bunch of little hearts that were left over, that I am sure I can find a use for.
Here are the links for you to go and sign up for your exclusive benefits to Cricut and to getting 10% off so that you can get crafty and make last minute cards!
Just a side note I purposely put a little bit of a pink tint to my photos using the Pic Tap Go app so I could have more of a Valentines day feel to my photos!
