Cute Digital Stamp Makes a Great Card

Here I am with my Party Time Tuesdays Challenge with a digital stamp from Digi Garden. The Digi Garden has fantastic stamps and they are all so cute! I wish I could buy them all. I kept it pretty simple for this card. I colored my stamp with some Sharpie and Bic Markers because I wanted to see how it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised with how well my cute little stamp came out.

I wanted my stamp to be the focal point of the card so I created a standard A2 card (4¼x5½) and created a background by trimming purple card stock and cream card stock and layering them as the base of the card. I cut out my digital stamp and adhered her to the card. I then stamped my sentiment in the lower corner and left it alone.

My card was a simple no fuss card that didn’t take to long to create. I like creating clean and simple cards and layouts, as if you haven’t noticed :).

What I like about this card is that it is easy enough for me to create a few of them at one time and stamp different sentiments on it so that I can then ship them off to card care connection or operation write home.

Do you send any of your cards to a charity? Let me know in the comments I am always looking for other places that I could send cards to.

Party Time Tuesdays Challenge

I haven’t officially posted about Party Time Tuesdays Challenge Blog. I am a member of the design team but I am also in the background sort of speak. I am the sponsor coordinator, which means I assist with ensuring that the design team has what they need from the sponsors in a timely manner so that they can create their projects. Every Tuesday, a new challenge is posted over at Party Time Tuesdays!

I post my entries on my blog on Monday’s because I already have Tuesday’s all lined up to provide you with a wonderful app review! I still want to share with you what I have made for the challenge so every Monday I will post what I have created for Party Time Tuesdays!

The image came from Floppy Latte Designs and I created this little card. I am going to send it on over to card care connection with a few other cards that I have already made this month. I have a small package for card care connection and for operation write home that I will be sending out at the end of the month!

What do you do with all the cards that you make? Do you keep them all or do you send them out to charity organizations?

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Scrapping Wonders Supports Breast Cancer

I am going to share an area of my life that has impacted me a great deal. My grandmother was a breast cancer survivor. I lover her dearly and she has since passed many years ago now. It has actually been 13 years since she passed away now. There are still some days where she will pop into my mind and I realize how much I really miss her.

She was a fighter my grandmother and she beat breast cancer back as any fighter would. For this reason and for the simple fact that I am a woman I try to support breast cancer in any way that I can.

I have been looking for some time now for some way for me to give back with my skills as a paper crafter and it is not easy to find organizations that you can do things for when it comes to card making and scrapbooking.

It appears that you can always count on Paper Crafts to help you out! I was on twitter and saw a tweet about Breast Cancer and a company called Card Care Connection. I was elated to find this and I plan on making some cards right away to send into them.  I hope that you will join me and if you make cards send some off to Card Care Connection. Card Care Connection accepts cards for all people who are affected by cancer. I think this is a wonderful way for me to give back and I am looking forward to making some cards and sending them off this weekend.
