7 More Days till Christmas!

I can’t believe that in 7 more days Christmas will be here! I started off my December Daily with a bang but last weekend I got so tied up with cleaning and trying to get ready for Christmas that I didn’t even get a chance to get my photos ready to print last weekend. I had some free time yesterday though and I got all my photos ready to go and sent them off to Target for printing.

I would have to say that this year I have done more prepping with my photos then I did last year. This year I take a look at my photos and decide which ones should be 3×4 size and which ones should be collage and which ones I am just going to go ahead and leave as a 4×6. Photoshop Elements has been my best friend throughout all this but I still have so much to learn!

Since I don’t have any layouts to share with you for my week 2 and almost week 3 of my December Daily I figured I would share with you the photos that I spent some time prepping yesterday.

The collages that I made were done by creating a 4×6 photo and adding 6 2×2 photos to them. I am hoping that once they are printed that they look fantastic. Of course my 3×4 prints are done on a 4×6 photo layout as well and those turned out great last time when I printed them. I sent everything off to Target this morning for printing and they are ready to be picked up! If I somehow forgot something that I wanted to document for the past week and a half I always have my Canon Selphy to fall back on!

December Daily Week 1

Well I completed my first week of my December Daily album. I ended up printing the majority of my pictures through Target but once I started working on my album I realized I didn’t print all the pictures I wanted! Canon Selphy to the rescue. I love this little machine, it makes my life that much easier to be able to print a quick photo at home.

Much like last year the majority of the photos were taken with my iPhone but I am ok with that. This morning I managed to snap some pictures of the little one talking to her Nutcracker with the DSLR!

I am still learning on how to get better photos of my December Daily. One of these days I am going to be able to post a great picture of my pocket page scrapbooking. Hopefully that will be next week.

I do find that with how busy I am during the week it is a whole lot easier for me to print my photos on a Saturday or Sunday and work on the project on the weekend. With all that being said here is our first week of December!

December Daily Foundation

I finished my December Daily Foundation pages sometime ago but I haven’t had a chance to share them with you. My plan is to put everything in my December Daily on a weekly basis. This week has been so hectic for me that I haven’t had a chance to scrap or craft in any way, shape or form. I have been keeping track of my days though and my prompts from the awesome Monica Bradford’s class Your December Inspired!

I have been using Evernote to keep track of notes of things that I want to implement in my December Daily for this week and I have been using PSE to create templates to get my photos printed up. I haven’t decided yet if I am going to attempt to print at home or if I am going to just send my prints to Target.

Any who the whole point of this post was for me to share some of December Daily Foundation pages with you! So here they are:

Days 1-25 of my album I made these cute little tags and used Teresa Collin’s Santa List Brads for the numbers. Some of the tags I have really fallen in love with and others I’m just ok with! It doesn’t have to be perfect I just have to like it! For days 26-31 I created numbers with my Cricut by cutting out ornaments and 3×4 cards with the numbers on them. All in all I am very happy with the setup that I have created and I think my December Daily is going to turn out fantastic!

On Sunday I will share with you my first week of my December Daily album!
