Merry Christmas Eve

Ahhhhh Christmas Eve is here and the celebration of Jesus’s birth can begin. From our family to yours we wish you a very Merry and Blessed Christmas.

Today we will spend our time baking some more, going to church and a Christmas Eve party that is spent with friends that are just like family. How do you spend your Christmas Eve?

7 More Days till Christmas!

I can’t believe that in 7 more days Christmas will be here! I started off my December Daily with a bang but last weekend I got so tied up with cleaning and trying to get ready for Christmas that I didn’t even get a chance to get my photos ready to print last weekend. I had some free time yesterday though and I got all my photos ready to go and sent them off to Target for printing.

I would have to say that this year I have done more prepping with my photos then I did last year. This year I take a look at my photos and decide which ones should be 3×4 size and which ones should be collage and which ones I am just going to go ahead and leave as a 4×6. Photoshop Elements has been my best friend throughout all this but I still have so much to learn!

Since I don’t have any layouts to share with you for my week 2 and almost week 3 of my December Daily I figured I would share with you the photos that I spent some time prepping yesterday.

The collages that I made were done by creating a 4×6 photo and adding 6 2×2 photos to them. I am hoping that once they are printed that they look fantastic. Of course my 3×4 prints are done on a 4×6 photo layout as well and those turned out great last time when I printed them. I sent everything off to Target this morning for printing and they are ready to be picked up! If I somehow forgot something that I wanted to document for the past week and a half I always have my Canon Selphy to fall back on!

December Daily Week 1

Well I completed my first week of my December Daily album. I ended up printing the majority of my pictures through Target but once I started working on my album I realized I didn’t print all the pictures I wanted! Canon Selphy to the rescue. I love this little machine, it makes my life that much easier to be able to print a quick photo at home.

Much like last year the majority of the photos were taken with my iPhone but I am ok with that. This morning I managed to snap some pictures of the little one talking to her Nutcracker with the DSLR!

I am still learning on how to get better photos of my December Daily. One of these days I am going to be able to post a great picture of my pocket page scrapbooking. Hopefully that will be next week.

I do find that with how busy I am during the week it is a whole lot easier for me to print my photos on a Saturday or Sunday and work on the project on the weekend. With all that being said here is our first week of December!
