Cute Digital Stamp Makes a Great Card

Here I am with my Party Time Tuesdays Challenge with a digital stamp from Digi Garden. The Digi Garden has fantastic stamps and they are all so cute! I wish I could buy them all. I kept it pretty simple for this card. I colored my stamp with some Sharpie and Bic Markers because I wanted to see how it would turn out. I was pleasantly surprised with how well my cute little stamp came out.

I wanted my stamp to be the focal point of the card so I created a standard A2 card (4¼x5½) and created a background by trimming purple card stock and cream card stock and layering them as the base of the card. I cut out my digital stamp and adhered her to the card. I then stamped my sentiment in the lower corner and left it alone.

My card was a simple no fuss card that didn’t take to long to create. I like creating clean and simple cards and layouts, as if you haven’t noticed :).

What I like about this card is that it is easy enough for me to create a few of them at one time and stamp different sentiments on it so that I can then ship them off to card care connection or operation write home.

Do you send any of your cards to a charity? Let me know in the comments I am always looking for other places that I could send cards to.

Embossing & Circles Make a Cute Card

Last challenge for the month of January for Party Time Tuesdays! I can’t believe that January is almost over. So this weeks challenge was anything goes. I had a ton of fun coloring this stamp from Paper Shelter. I think the little girl on the moon is just adorable. I then used my creative memories custom cutting system. I have had this cutting system for over 10 years and I still love using it! I cut out my colored and stamped image in a circle and then I cut out a piece of pink and purple cardstock into a circle.

Next I embossed my circles with the Sizzix Hearts embossing folder. I then punched out some hearts and embossed those hearts as well. I adhered the pink circle and then the purple circle and then my stamped image. I adhered them all off centered so that you could see the embossing on each circle. Next I adhered my punched hearts in the corners and lastly I used my Hero Arts stamp to stamp my sentiment.

The base of my card is a 6×6 which is made from a piece of cardstock that is 6×12 and scored at the 6 and folded in half.
