How many of you like color challenges?
Sometimes I don’t mind them and then other times I wonder who decided those colors should be together. I am currently assisting Party Time Tuesdays challenge blog as the sponsor coordinator. I don’t have to participate in the challenges but this time I around I couldn’t resisit.
The digital stamp was from Bugaboo stamps and is absolutlely adorable and then you add the color challenge to it that utilized blue and I knew I just had to participate in this challenge.
First things first I had to color this amazing stamp and I actually used Copic markers and Sharpie markers on the image. After I finsihed coloring it I wasn’t sure what to do with it so I decided to turn it into a card. I have a few cards made already for card care connection so I just figured I would add it to my pile.
I cut a regular A2 sized card, which is 4¼x5½. Next I cut a piece of yellow card stock out at 4×5 and piece of grey cardstock out at 4×5. I layered the pieces in a sort of brick pattern. I was going to place the picture on just the way it was but the more I looked at it the more I thought it needed something else.
I decided to go ahead and distress the top area of it with some Tim Holtz distress ink to give it some sky and then I rounded opposite corners with my corner rounder.
I love how perfect pearls looks in real life and pictures never do it justice but the Thinking of You sentiment is a shimmery blue.
Back to the question do you love color challenges or hate them? Let me know the comments I would love to know what challenges you participate in. You can always just with me a HAPPY BIRTHDAY if you don’t feel like talking about color challenges 🙂 as today is my BIRTHDAY!
