Digital Album is Done!

It may have taken me all summer long and a tropical storm to keep me cooped up in a house but I finally completed the digital album of my son’s trip to Puerto Rico! Summer keeps a mama busy that is for sure. Sometimes my little monster doesn’t let me get anything done either and other times you realize that its 9 o clock at night and all you want to do is crawl into bed! So between all those issues and some paper crafting and paper scrapbooking in between I finally managed to complete the album. I am very happy with the result. I created this album with CM Storybook Creator which I find is the easiest program to use if you just want to create a digital album and use papers that are already made. If I choose to get fancier I use Photoshop Elements or Photoshop CS5. I hope you all enjoy my album :)

Getting It Done

So I have spent the last few hours getting all the pictures into a digital book. All these pictures are of my son’s trip to Puerto Rico that I have mentioned in previous posts. I still haven’t managed to get him to sit down with me yet and get all the journaling done. Little does he know that is what he is going to be doing this weekend. My goal for the weekend is to finish the Puerto Rico album!!! We shall see what happens as my best friend is down here from New York. I have inserted a slideshow of some of the digital pages that I have gotten done tonight. Let me know what you all think of the pages so far. :)

It’s Over…..

So I managed to make it through the 4th of July and the day after LOL. Whew, it sure was a busy day yesterday. When you have little monsters and big monsters you pretty much have to get on out there and do family fun activities on the holidays. I love every minute of it but I was definitely not one of the mommy’s that got to catch up on scrapbooking yesterday. I did manage to get some great pictures to celebrate the 4th but I haven’t had the chance to edit them and throw them in a page just yet! I am definitely hoping to get to that sometime in the near future. I felt so bad for my little monster this morning considering that she went to bed late and that she had to get up early to go to camp :( She was so tired and out of sorts this morning. Next year I will definitely be taking the day after the 4th off.

On the other hand I have been working on my son’s trip to Puerto Rico. I haven’t quite managed to find the time to have him sit with me to get all the journaling done yet but I will definitely be strapping him down next to me sometime in the very near future!

Puerto Rico trip: Dominick and Grandpa 2012

This is going to be the first page in the album that I am making for my son and his Grandpa. I think this was the perfect for age for Grandpa to take Dominick on this trip. Dominick is at the age where he can truly appreciate the time that he got to spend not only in Puerto Rico but with his Grandpa as well! I will definitely be posting more pages as I progress with creating this wonderful scrapbook for my son and his Grandpa.

This page was made with Storybook Creator from Creative Memories and I am flip-flopping between the Traveler digital kit and the What A View digital kit. The digital pages and embellishments that come with these kits are perfect for my son’s trip :) I posted pictures of these two kits in my previous post about choices (feel free to check out my previous post and tell me which digital kit you like more).
