I must admit that I had another app all lined up that I was going to share with you but this week an app created by one of favorite people was just launched. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I was about this app. If you knew Lain Ehmann or have been following her in any way you would understand my excitment!

So Today is all about the Layout A Day app. This is a fairly simple app to use once you download it all you have to do is click on it and once it opens you are provided with a bit of inspiration to get you scrapping that day. Everyone needs inspiration at some point or another!

Today’s inspiration from the app is to “Use a quote for titles or journaling. Could be from your four-year-old, could be from Yoda.” 

I don’t think I have ever used a quote in my scrapbooking so for me this is a great idea and one that I plan on trying! The app allows you to share the inspiration from that day to Facebook, Twitter or Email and you have the ability to go to the archives and see past day inspiration ideas as well. You can also share the archived inspiration to your preferred social media outlets.

The app is all about inspiring you to get in your crafting room and get scrapping. I have opened the app every day since it launched and I have liked all the inspiring ideas. I can’t say that I have had a chance to actually scrap yet as I have been super busy with my daughter’s birthday and my birthday but the weekend is right around the corner and I am pretty sure that I will find some scrap happy time for myself.
