Stamping and Scrapbooking

Stamping on a layout can be daunting for some but there is no reason to be scared to get out your stamps and just have some fun and if you mess up so what you can always fix it or start over, its only paper. I used to be one of those people who had a fear of incorporating stamps into my layouts. I love stamps though and the versatility and creative outlet that they give me. I have gotten over my fear of stamps and now I can’t live without them!

I have incorporated stamps on several projects and I use them not only for my scrapbooking layouts but also for card making and for making my own project life cards.

Recently I had created a layout with the project life app and it inspired me to create a 12×12 layout featuring the same colors. I decided to use my stamps to create the title for the layout as well as some embellishments for the layout.

Here is the layout that inspired me to create my 12×12 layout of my munchkins.

Now here is what I came up with using these colors for my layout. I created a process video for you all to watch so you can see how easy it is to add stamping to your layouts.

Fun Interactive Mini Album Incorporations

Well hello there and welcome to my little home on the net. If this is your first time here, welcome have a look around and learn all about how to get those photos off of your phones and into albums quickly and easily. I hope you have been enjoying the hop so far, you should have come from Melissa over at Digital Scrapbooking HQ where you learned all about how to create a layout.

Today my post post is all about a cute little mini album that I have created with one sheet of paper. I will not take credit for this idea but I will definitely share the video with you for this adorable little mini album that I found on YouTube. When I saw this tutorial I thought it would be perfect for Halloween since it is one of my favorite holidays to scrap and I always have tons of photos. I love the colors, I love the photos and I love the embellishments. Now that I am with Close To My Heart I also love the stamps that they have.

Ok enough about how awesome it is to scrap Halloween. I made this cute little mini album with the Scaredy Cat paper line, which I must share with you out of the whole paper pack their are only two pieces of paper that have to be used only for scrapping Halloween, all the other paper is Halloween colors but it is generic enough for you to use for anything.

Scaredy Cat Paper Pack

For this mini album I used the Halloween one and created this adorable mini album following the instructions in the video posted above. I think this is a great way to incorporate an interactive element to your project life pages or to a regular scrapbook page. I also think these little one page mini albums are perfect for my little one to use when she wants to scrap with me or if you want a quick and easy little gift that you can give to someone.

I also used the Scaredy Cat Complements and assortment to finish up my mini album and layout. Lastly I stamped these adorable little Halloween figures. Some I heat embossed and some I colored with copics and others I just left as is! I used the Frightfully Fun Stamp set for this which I then fussy cut out! Now we are all ready for our Halloween photos which let me say thanks to project life all my photos are currently printed and in my album! This is a feat that I have never accompolished before, so I am very pleased with my decision to incorporate pocket page scrapping into my life. This little mini album fits perfectly into a 4×6 pocket page as well all you have to do is stick in the last page into the pocket and leave the rest hanging out of pocket.
