Scrap Paper Everywhere

I can’t believe that tomorrow is the last day of the ultimate blog challenge. Tomorrow I am going to have to go out with a bang!

Tonight I am feeling sicky which is not cool so I have short post for you tonight about different things that you can do with your scrap paper. It’s short video by the lovely Glitter Girl, Shimelle. She turns her scraps into some really great layouts. I know that I have a ton of scraps just hanging out in my scrap box in my craft area. I try to use my scraps on a pretty regular basis and some of her suggestions I have done on my layouts before. The circle idea that she did with her scraps I really liked and I have never done before. I am going to be trying that one out soon!

Anyways here is the video, Enjoy!

Let me start this off by saying this is day 20 of the ultimate blog challenge and I haven’t missed a day yet. Patting myself on the back right now. This has definitely been a challenge for me. I was pretty much on a 2 to 3  post a week. I am enjoying the blog challenge because I have met many other bloggers and not all of them are in the crafting world. This is good because it has gotten me to branch out!

Lets get back to this awesome shopping trip of mine. I went to Hobby Lobby today!!! Whoooohooooo. I have wanted to go for a long time but the store is about 1.5 hours away from me. This is not a huge distance but you still need the time to get in the car and go on a trip. I must say that I will be going back to Hobby Lobby some time in the near future. The store is huge and the scrapbooking section is amazing!!

My mom, my daughter and I went on this trip so we were not able to go through the whole store but what I did get to see was oh so amazing. The store is huge compared to Michaels and Joanns stores and the store seems to have everything that you need from scrapbooking, to art supplies, to house decor, to fabric, to yarn, to sewing, to kids crafts, to you get the picture the store has everything.

Of course I bought stuff but it’s late and I want to go play with the stuff that I bought before I have to pack it in for the night. Let me just say I bought some Christmas supplies to make some wonderful Christmas decorations for the house. I will be sharing that project with you as it gets closer to Christmas!
